Public Transport & Hotel Options
Salzburg is a fairly small city with excellent public transport connections. The trolley bus (= OBUS) network runs throughout all of Salzburg, tickets can be purchased of the driver, online or as presale tickets in all tobacconists’.
The conference venue, Unipark Nonntal is right in the city center, which means that a bus ride no longer than 25 minutes should get you there.
The city’s hotels and B&Bs are spread all across town, for accommodation within walking distance see some recommendations below.
AirBnB in Salzburg has a very good reputation (check close to “Nonntal”).
For hotels, we have found that booking.com gets very good deals. In addition, Salzburg has its very own accommodation platform.
